change is inevitable

The world we live in isn't the same as is it was 20 years ago. It also won't be the same in 5 years. The job we would like to do might not exist in 10 years, the problems we want to solve might be already solved and the people we would like to spend these moments with might be already gone. The whole world is changing and it won't stop.

How is the world different from yesterday, because you got out of your bed today? What has changed because of you? Yes, change is inevitable, but it is still a choice. What change is worth your time, money and energy?

If you know me a little, you know I am a tech neophiliac. The amount of novel technologies coming to market seems infinte nowadays. When I found out about the metaverse I was more then tempted. I had to make a choice. Do I want to spend my resources on this technology and take part in changing it? My answer is: No.
